Affirming therapy for LGBTQ+, ADHD, and autistic folks
You don’t have to mask, perform, hide, or explain parts of yourself here-just show up as you are.
Welcome to a place to be fully yourself.
I work with LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent folks who want a therapist who just “gets it.”
We might be a good fit if you want to explore:
The patterns you keep finding yourself in
What happens in your body when you're overwhelmed, disconnected, or activated
Identity, coming out, gender, sexuality, and belonging
ADHD/autistic experiences that don't fit the traditional therapy model
Boundaries, communication, and relationships
Life transitions and figuring out what comes next
We'll pay attention to what's happening in real time—and figure out what to do with it, together.
I offer sessions virtually throughout Texas.
hi, i’m Shira!
-
In a first session we'll talk through what's bringing you in, what you're hoping for, and I'll ask questions to get a feel for your history and how you move through the world. You'll leave with a sense of whether we click and what working together might look like.
-
That’s totally ok, and I’m happy to help guide the session. I’ll work with you to figure out where we should start!
-
Not exclusively — but it is who I specialize in. I also work well with folks navigating life transitions, and with the overly self-aware — the ones who've already done the reading, know their patterns, and still feel stuck. If none of that applies to you, you're still welcome here — you'll just be working with someone whose lens was built with those experiences in mind.
